At the core, DEPLOY™ is a generic platform that can integrate applications from a functional perspective and it becomes a domain specific integrator when logical workflows representing functionality are created. Front office or third party applications can be integrated to communicate with these workflows to complete a business activity.

Seamlessly manages integration when a system is replaced or a new system is introduced

DEPLOY™ infrastructure is flexible to accommodate new domain functionalities. The domain functionality can either be a completely new system or it can also be a replacement of a legacy system. As DEPLOY™ is essentially a functional integration tool; it is relatively easy to perform a data migration when an integrated system is replaced.

Helps monitor integrated systems

DEPLOY™ integrates various business functions and monitors various system parameters. DEPLOY™ has the capability to measure the overall system performance, database performance and processes launched via its workflows. These metrics are critical to business functions that are carried out by DEPLOY™ and should there be any fault, it immediately notifies the user about the situation and suspends activities until a resolution is provided.

Orchestration of Workflows

Workflows for various activities from a business function perspective as well as from a technical execution perspective can be defined and managed within DEPLOY™. At run time, the entire activity can be monitored for progress. DEPLOY™ provides the facility to escalate errors for resolution and can suspend the activity until it has been resolved. DEPLOY™ also checks the integrated system for key system performance parameters before executing workflows on that system. For example, if the CPU usage is high then DEPLOY™ notifies the user. At this point user has options to 'restart', 'resume' or 'pause' the activity that is being performed.

Light Weight Components in integrated systems

DEPLOY™ does not introduce huge load into the integrated systems; Components introduced by DEPLOY™ into the target systems are light-weight and can be deployed easily. Light weight components (referred to as Domain Mediator) residing in various environments give DEPLOY™ the necessary knowledge of the domain.

DEPLOY™ helps data flow seamlessly between integrated heterogeneous systems. The actions performed on one system, including business functions, triggers actions on underlying systems. This enables seamless control over data flow.

DEPLOY™ integrates with the enterprise security system. A backend application like the Domain Mediator is given a specific user access and will have limited roles as per the tasks that it is authorized to carry out. The session validity is also defined to ensure that no process becomes alien in the system.

When large data is involved, DEPLOY™ can propagate the data between heterogeneous systems with user defined parameters.

DEPLOY™ has a built-in hierarchical representation of business functions which allow users to drill down the view to the last mile functional unit of work. The Business Function Viewer also provides key statistics and information of various functional activities within it to keep the business informed. The view can also be changed to eTOM, NGOSS mode for a framework compliant view.
